If you haven’t tried a Bluetooth speaker yet, now is definitely the time to do it!  SoundBot makes it easy, by providing households with quality, yet inexpensive, portable speakers and wireless headphones, making sure all of your listening needs are met at a price you can afford. The SB525 is a Bluetooth speaker meant to give you more than a full sound, it has a strong bass, perfect for dancing and a smooth sound for softer, more relaxing sounds.  OMG Goodies loves music as much as you do, and we know you want to hear about this fantastic speaker.

My Thoughts on the SoundBot SB525 Bluetooth Speaker:

My house has all kinds of portable Bluetooth speakers in it.  We use all of them.  Some travel with us when we leave town. Some are used in specific rooms. Some are used for a specific sound quality. Some are used because they rock a light show.  There is no such thing as too many speakers, especially wireless speakers!

The SB525 is the speaker you want when you are looking for a strong bass and an easy-to-find beat. This Bluetooth speaker offers 15 hours of streaming music and  uses enhanced bass membranes and sub woofers – which are found on both sides of the speaker. The music vibes, here, my friend, are real!

I took the SB525 Bluetooth Speaker and placed it next to another speaker specifically made to rock the bass.  I went back and forth between speakers comparing the sound, listening carefully to the bass. There is no question, the SB525 won the strong bass award in this competition.  The difference was noticeable.

I like a warm tone for my treble and mid-tones.  It’s a simple preference which means nothing about the quality of a speaker unless it sounds like music coming from a squeaky tin can.  The SB525 has  bright treble and mid-tones, which work very nicely with the heavier bass. It is perfect for the music you want to spread through a portion of the house or around a back yard.  They are crisp and clear, headed in the direction of warm. The sound is definitely balanced with an emphasis on the bass.

Other features of this incredible speaker include:

  • Aux-in and Aux-out ports – perfect for connecting two SB525 speakers together for a great surround sound.
  • Speakerphone
  • 4000 Mah rechargeable Lithium-ion battery
  • USB port for charging other devices
  • Standard mini USB charging port for rechargeable Lithium-ion battery
  • Forward/Back/Pause/Call buttons
  • Individual power button (not Multi-function)
  • Dual positioning for the speaker

Some of my favorite features of this Bluetooth speaker, would definitely be the ability to charge my phone from the speaker.  The 4000 Mah battery has such a great capacity it can charge your phone and still leave you with plenty of power to stream music for hours. I also love being able to stand the speaker up or have it on its side when it is on.  Most speakers have only one way to place them on the table, but the SB525 can be placed on its side or it can stand vertically.  There is an orange silicone edge to show you which end to stand it on.  You would expect the sound to be affected by its positioning, but it isn’t.  I was very pleased to witness this myself!

The SB525 has a great sleek look, one that can easily blend in or be brought to the forefront. The sound quality is excellent and the bass is one like you have never experienced on a speaker this size. Wireless, speakerphone, super long-lasting rechargeable battery, Bluetooth, with the ability to charge your phone and connect to another speaker for surround sound at a low price – what reason could you have to not visit Amazon and learn more?  I can’t think of one.

I’ve not tried a bluetooth speaker yet. I do like that it’s inexpensive and that it can charge your phone too.
