Immortals and Melodies Book Review

Heather Jenson has a book called Immortals and Melodies. I am excited to tell you about it here on OMG Goodies: Life of a Mad Typer.

My Thoughts about Immortals and Melodies –

Immortals and Melodies is the second book in the Blood and Guitars series. I received the first book, Blood and Guitars, for review and fell in love and immediately purchased this one when I saw it was available. I admit it took me awhile to finish the book, which was no fault of the book. As I started reading Immortals and Melodies, I fell in love with the characters all over again, but life is life, and it was put aside for some time.

While the book did have its slow parts, when I picked it up again, I read the majority of it in 2 nights before shutting down for the night. I was mad at myself for not finishing this book when I originally started it. Now, I am happy to see justice for Wes and I admit the book had me on my toes for a bit there wondering if they were going to make it to the full moon or not.

I love that Aurora is an artist. I also love the twist of the different powers each month, which I haven’t seen anyone else do in a vampire novel. She takes a classic idea like vampires and makes it her own.

Heather has quickly become one of my favorite authors and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series to see what she comes up with next.
