Love Cooking Company has some amazing products. I had the chance to review three of them. They are the Push Pan, Cute Cake Baking Pan and the Fill and Flip Cake Pan. I am happy to feature them in the OMG Goodies 2015 Holiday Gift Guide!
My Thoughts about Love Cooking Company-
The holidays are here and most of us will be baking and cooking wonderful items to give to our loved ones or for the delicious holiday dinners. Thanks to a wonderful company, I had the chance to review three amazing cooking pans. When I received the three pans, my daughter was staying with us for the Thanksgiving holiday, she was going to school to become a Pastry Chef then changed her major. When she saw the pans, she was very excited. We played with the pans and made three different desserts for Thanksgiving. We made a Pumpkin Cheesecake, Mini pumpkin pie bites, and a French vanilla cake with cherry center covered in whip cream.
The Push Pan is an important part of cooking for me now. Instead of using a spring pan, I now have this! It works better than a spring pan. You use it like a normal cake pan. Then when the cake has cooled, you just push the bottom of the pan up and out and you have your cake on the flat part.
When I used this, I made a cheesecake. My daughter lined the sides and bottom with gram crackers for the shell and cooked it for 4 minutes. Then we placed the pumpkin cheese cake into it and cooked it until it was done. Once it was cooled, I found something that was long and round. I placed the Push Pan on top of it and pushed the edge down so that the bottom went up. Once the flat part and the cheesecake was out, we used a knife to lift it off and place it on a serving plate.
Cute Cake Baking Pan–
The Cute Cake Baking Pan looks like a super small cupcake pan. It is one inch size which is perfect for bite site baked goods. I wanted to make something I knew would be a big hit, so I make pumpkin pie bites. I simply added flour to it so that it would be more solid and once they were cooked, I let them cool and flipped them right out. I topped my pumpkin pie bites with whip cream and served! They are a huge hit in my house!
Fill and Flip Cake Pan-
This by far is my favorite pan! The Fill and Flip Cake Pan is like no other I have ever worked with. Start by making your cake batter from scratch or from a box cake mix. Separate the batter into both sides of the pan. Place the pan in the oven and let it cook like you normally would. Once they are done cooking, you let it rest and cool. At this point, you flip them over and get them to release from the pan. Place the bottom portion of the cake on a plate. Add your filling. (I used Cherry in mine and it held an entire can of cherry filling.) When it is filled, place the top onto it. It fits like a Tupperware lid! Finish with the icing of your choice! I did a French vanilla cake with the cherry filling and whip cream on top. The flavors were amazing together and the cake looks beautiful once you cut into it.
