Celestial Kits with Shimmery Glitter:

Hey all, this is Ruby! I know I have been quiet lately, and I am sorry I have been so absent. I took a bit of a writing break and focused on my youtube for a bit. Halloween is my favorite time of year and I wanted to share some products I got my hands on from a PR package that I thought you might enjoy this season.

So first, I would like to tell you about the face glitter kit. I think this is my favorite item in the collection. I am a sucker for holo glitter and this has that in abundance. You can even use these on your nails if you want to.

Celestial Enchanted Palette

This pallet had my heart the moment I saw it. It is totally fairytale-like and was a perfect addition to the collection. You can see the swatches and me applying them in my video.

There are 2 types of lip products in this collection. A glitter lip kit and chrome lip toppers. Finally, some nice glitter toppers in the drugstore! I have been drooling over the lip toppers from joue for a while but I haven’t made the jump. There are 2 colors of the chrome topper and 3 of the glitter kits. I was going to do a video of them on their own, but I ended up putting them together in one video.

So, there we have all the videos of me testing the products and talking about them. I hope I haven’t bored you to death out there and that you’re still with me. So now here’s the video of my final thoughts of the collection.

Forgotten mentions:

So, I have to say some things I forgot to mention in the video. The glitter lip kit was by far my least favorite item in the whole collection. It was super gritty and felt weird on my lips. I was going crazy while wearing it, wishing for a thick lip gloss which I thought would alleviate the terrible feeling, but I couldn’t find one. I love the chrome lip toppers but I don’t think you need both, and I am passing on one of them to a bestie.

The eyeshadow pallet requires a lot of work to get the colors that you see in the pan. I mean, quite a bit of build up, I haven’t tried it wet—that may equal better results. I did, however, try it with the liquid from the colour chrome shadow that they released this summer and didn’t get the best result. So, I have to say it is better than the shadows I remember as a teen in the drugstore and definitively better than anything at Claire’s.

Drugstore makeup has come a long way and you can get your hands on items that you don’t have to work so hard with to achieve a look. Although, since I didn’t have a lot of shimmer in my collection, I am still happy to have it.
