Monkey Up Movie Review

The creators of Air Bud have released a new movie called Monkey Up! I would love to share my opinion here on OMG Goodies.

My thoughts about the  Monkey Up Movie –

The Monkey Up Movie is about a talking monkey named Monty who dreams of being famous one day.  He starts out in a zoo with his family, but breaks out and finds a man to be his agent for commercials.  He starts acting and loves it, but isn’t satisfied with where he is going. Little does he know what is in store for him as he climbs into a doll house to get away from his agent.  The doll house is destined for a little girl who has a family that will change his life forever.

Monkey Up reminds me a little of Air Bud when I was a kid.  Instead of a K9 though, they use a monkey.  This family film is a great addition to what they have previously done.  With goofy villains and intelligent children, it sets the stage to success.  Monty is funny, thoughtful, and caring, only he doesn’t know it yet.  He is on a journey to discover more than just his dreams, but also his heart’s content.  It teaches children there is more than just your dreams to consider, but other’s dreams too.  A good lesson in life, don’t lose the one’s you love while pursuing a dream.

This movie was a delight to watch.  Though parts are a bit cheesy, I still enjoyed watching it. Monkey Up is a good family show with good lessons and family moments.  It makes you appreciate time with your family and the wonderful life family can bring.

Hi my name is Lacy and I am 27 years old. I am a mommy, blogger, and piano/guitar lover. I am a single mom making ends meet by working as a massage therapist, studying to become a doula, and blogging on the side. I love what I do and I love time with my kids. Nothing is better than spending the day playing hide and seak or sliding down slides at the park. My greatest joy is playing with my children. I am so happy and grateful for them.
I grew up in a small town in southern Idaho. I now live in a semi-small town in Arizona. I guess you could say I like the small town feel. Overall I say, life is what you make it. I love life, I love my kids, I love what I do.
