Nickelodeon and Paramount Pictures have teamed up to bring fun and educational DVD’s into your home. Paw Patrol DVD: Brave Heroes, Big Rescues brings your favorite pups into your home in 6 new episodes. I am excited to discuss this DVD with you on OMG Goodies.

My Thoughts about Paw Patrol DVD: Brave Heroes, Big Rescues – Dog Cartoon:

Paw Patrol: Brave Heroes, Big Rescues is the perfect dog cartoon addition to your home library if you have small kids! It is great for both boys and girls and I think that kids age 1-8 would enjoy it.  My son is 15 months old and he loved it! I put it in for him while I did the dishes and he watched one episode before he got bored – which for a toddler is great, since they do not have a very long attention span!

I had never watched a Paw Patrol episode before and this show is a good one to have on hand because, not only is it entertaining, but it is also educational and teaches kids how to be good friends and people. I like how there is no violence or fighting. It is similar to children programs you might find on PBS. Besides, who doesn’t love dogs? Dog cartoons are great for the whole family!

There are 6 episodes on the Paw Patrol: Brave Heroes, Big Rescues. They are  Pups Save Jake, Pups Save the Parade, Pups Save a Mer-Pup, Pups Save a Friend, Pups Save a Stowaway, and Pups Bark with Dinosaurs. Two of the episodes are double-length adventures for extra fun!  This fun dog cartoon runs 92 minutes.

I enjoy the interaction between the humans and the dogs. Some dog cartoons are strictly entertainment and not educational, but not this Paw Patrol DVD.  Humans and dogs work together to solve problems and make life better for their friends.

  • In Pups Save Jake, the Paw Patrol helps Jake get his leg unstuck.
  • In Pups Save the Parade, the Paw Patrol helps save their friends from a runaway bathtub.
  • In Pups Save a Mer-pup, the Paw Patrol are turned into Merpups and help save a merpup’s babies.
  • In Pups Save a Friend, the Paw Patrol helps Marshall realize he is needed.
  • In Pups Save a Stowaway, the Paw Patrol helps Cali and a kitty find their way home.
  • Last, but not least, the Paw Patrol helps roundup 3 prehistoric friends in Pups Bark with Dinosaurs.

Overall, this dog cartoon, Paw Patrol: Brave Heroes, Big Rescues is a great DVD. It isn’t an annoying show like some of the other shows out there.  It is enjoyable for the whole family, but specifically preschool age kids.  It will keep them entertained while helping them learn to be helpful. What a great addition to an Easter basket!
