Starpath Dolls Morning Star Brings Adventure to Your Child’s Imagination

Starpath Dolls offers four beautifully crafted ethnic dolls and accessories every girl can enjoy. Girls will also adore personalizing an adventure story about them and their new friend.

Starpath Dolls Morning Star Brings Adventure to Your Child's Imagination

Starpath Dolls started with Anita Winsor’s daughter’s love of reading and dolls. She inspired her mom to start a business where girls could find a friend in one of the four beautifully crafted dolls and star in a magical adventure story. Learn more about our adventures with Morning Star in the personalized book, Tiger Magic on OMG Goodies!

My Thoughts About Starpath Dolls:

As most of us are aware, not all dolls gain the attention of our children, nor is the quality of each doll the same. Quality dolls, such as Morning Star, are entirely different. The 18″ Starpath Dolls have huggable middles with movable vinyl limbs and heads. The smooth vinyl limbs make cleaning the inevitable dirt off the limbs and face a breeze.

Morning Star also has soft, brushable hair. Unlike lesser quality dolls, the hair is woven strand by strand and then placed onto the scalp. This gives the hair a more lifelike look and feel and makes brushing easier.

Morning Star

Morning Star, the blond-haired, blue-eyed doll from this ethnic grouping, came to our house at the request of my daughter. She wanted a doll that was like her. “She’s blond and has blue eyes!” were her words as she explained why Morning Star was the doll for her. Though my daughter’s hair is darkening, she is the only one in our family of six with these features.

Various, yet similar fabric prints adorn the skirts of Morning Star dolls. In fact, the doll we received had a skirt with a larger flower print than the one pictured on the website. To me, this makes my daughter’s new friend more unique.

My daughter enjoys including Morning Star in her imaginative play with her scaley friends. Her love of dinosaurs and dragons does not stop her from loving such a beautiful doll.

We also set up a photo shoot for Morning Star. Taking the pictures and arranging various effects kept everyone busy! With such beautiful features, Morning Star easily takes your breath away.

The other dolls

If you prefer a different doll for your child, Starpath Dolls has what you need.

  • Shining Star comes with a light complexion, brown eyes, and long, chestnut hair.
  • Wandering Star comes with a darker complexion, brown eyes, and dark hair with a touch of beautiful curl.
  • Wishing Star comes with a medium complexion, expressive, almond-shaped eyes and dark hair.

Starpath Dolls Adventure Books:

Sold separately from the dolls and each other, two magical adventures await your child and their new friend. Each story comes as either a printed chapter book or an ebook.

A Fairy Tale Gone Wrong, written by Suzanne Williams, drops these best friends into the story of Cinderella after they make the same birthday wish. Now they have to keep the story on track so they can return home.

Tiger Magic, written by Mitali Perkins, takes best friends on a magical journey to India where they have to save a tiger cub from poachers. Along the way, the friends meet another friend.

PersonalizingTiger Magic

Considering my daughter’s love of animals, especially cats, and her lack of interest in most things princess, it was no surprise when she chose Tiger Magic as her ebook to read with her new friend. We sat together at my computer and answered questions about my daughter in order to place her in the story. The standard questions didn’t take more than a few minutes to answer. The hardest part was determining Morning Star’s new name (Piper) and which school friends she wanted to include in the story. Most of the questions I could answer without my daughter there — perfect for those who want to give the book as a printed gift.

The 67-page chapter book has a few black-and-white illustrations with beautiful detail. We like this because my daughter and I prefer to read our books on our black-and-white Kindles.  This time, however, she chose to read the book on the family iPad.  Starpath Dolls stores the ebook on their website, which makes downloading the book to various devices simple. You can even email it straight from the website to devices such as a Kindle! Email is also a great way to deliver the ebook as a gift.

My daughter spent some of the afternoon reading the ebook in her fort with Piper.  Her most favorite part of the book is when she and Piper save the tiger cub from poachers who are shooting at them. The easy-to-read book includes all the fun details about my daughter, which make the book a huge success!
