Gladditudes is the only place to buy your amazing Halloween maternity shirts! The new item they have is the Sugar Skull Skelly Baby. I am excited to tell you about it here on OMG Goodies.

My Thoughts about Sugar Skull Skelly Baby –

For the last three years, I have had the chance to work with Elisabeth Markus and her beautiful creations known as the Skelly Belly Maternity Shirts. This year, she emailed me with a new style shirt. As soon as I saw it, I was in love! I knew all my pregnant moms would be in love with it too. Being pregnant at Halloween, doesn’t leave a lot of room for tasteful costumes. With Elisabeth’s creations, it allows mom to have a cute shirt on and dad can get a matching one to allow people to know he is the dad. One of my friends just found out she was pregnant, When Lis offered to send me one of the new shirts called Sugar Skull Skelly Baby, I asked if she could send it to my friend. I was excited when she did.

Special guest review by Carolee Bostwick

When I found out I was pregnant with my 5th kid, It was right before Halloween. I was wanting to get a shirt I had seen with the skull baby in the belly. Then my friend, Jessica, offered me the Sugar Skull Skelly Baby by Gladditudes to review. I was excited because it was just want I wanted!

When I received the Sugar Skull Skelly Baby by Gladditudes, I was impressed with the shirt.. It’s not huge so you don’t look big and pregnant. The fabric is nice and soft; it’s not like when you feel like you have to stretch it out to give yourself room. The neckline isn’t low, which is good when your boobs are getting gigantic. All together, it has a very nice fit!

I am excited for Halloween to come so I can wear it to work and trick-or-treating with my other kids. I want to get my husband the Papi shirt to go with it. It would be the perfect match for a couples costume this Halloween.

This year, Elisabeth Markus finally started to blog about why she created the the Skelly Baby. She did a special post about the Sugar Skull Skelly Baby by Gladditudes you need to read. She even did a post this month about the creative juices behind this line called Skelly Baby Comes to Life which is a must read as well. One of my favorite statements from this blog post is:

It wasn’t until (what felt like) the entire world started copying my work through copyright infringement that I realized Skelly Baby wasn’t just another design in my shop, but a character.

After working with her, and watching her design come to life over and over, and watching the copy cats that followed her design, I have wondered how she comes up with her ideas. When she finally wrote about it, it made me excited! I love this company and will support her through all her endeavors! Thank you, Lis for allowing OMG Goodies to help you out in any way we can!
